There is a saying that I am sure you have heard many times that says “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.” Here at Mission UpReach, we would say something that is almost the opposite. Our experience is “What happens in Honduras echoes into Eternity.”
When you give to Mission UpReach, you are ensuring that children are fed, families are discipled, leaders are developed, churches are strengthened, new churches are planted, communities are transformed and eternal stories are written. Take just a moment to think about it; when a child hears the Gospel for the first time in one of our Bible camps, heaven takes notice. When that child is raised up to be a leader in his or her generation, the entire generation is changed. Your past generosity has already set eternity in motion, but there is more to be done. There are more children, more leaders, and more lives waiting. Your investment, by donating, is beginning to shape Eternity right now.
In the economics of the upside-down dynamics of Jesus’ kingdom, one life reached becomes many. In other words, in God’s kingdom, impact multiplies exponentially. One child becomes a discipled, adult leader. One leader then reaches a family and that one family transforms a community. Mission UpReach is not a charity, it is a “force multiplier.” And what begins here does not end here. It echoes into Eternity.
Right now, a door is opening. This year, as in past years, something extraordinary is happening. A group of generous donor partners has created a Matching Gift Challenge Fund. This means that every dollar you give can double your impact: twice the number of children reached, twice the number of leaders trained, and twice the eternal impact. But the opportunity is limited. We need to receive your gift or pledge before December 31st of this year in order to qualify for the matching gift challenge.
I hope as you read the stories and see the beautiful faces of those we will feature in this campaign, that you will catch a glimpse of Eternity. Just imagine the joy we will all feel when we are around the throne of our loving Father, looking back on the life we lived, knowing it was all worth it.
