As we wrap up our summer brigade season, I feel incredibly grateful to those who made the sacrifice to come and serve with us here in Honduras. This summer alone we served more than 3800 people with medical consults, eye checks, and dental work. Several vital and important construction projects were completed, and many children were served with a fun and exciting VBS. It’s hard to explain the impact these things have on the people we serve and the communities we work in. Doors are opened by the love expressed, whether through medical attention or making the children happy. Measuring this by numbers seems insignificant considering the impact these efforts have had and will have for much time to come. So, to all the 270 servants who came to Santa Rosa de Copán this year, we thank you!
