Gustavo Prato

Gustavo Prato

This month we were so privileged to host Gustavo Prato, originally from Venezuela. Gustavo met his wife, Cheryl in Venezuela some 40 years ago. They dated, married, served in Venezuela 10 years, then moved to the U.S. They have 3 grown children and will soon have 4 grandchildren. Gustavo is wellprepared as a minister, theologian, and counselor. While in Santa Rosa de Copán, Gustavo offered 3 evenings of classes on marriage and parenting.

He spent a lot of time talking about family legacy and the family structure and their impact on
children and future generations. The participants were fascinated by the wisdom Gustavo shared. He also preached on Sunday as well as taught the Sunday School class. Phil and I had the privilege of hosting Gustavo. We found his presence and shared passion for bringing hope and healing to people so refreshing and encouraging. We laughed together as well as cried over lifetime pains but always returned to the hop e that God provides for us, even in the midst of the storm. Gustavo lives in North Carolina where he dedicates his life to ministry and healing.
